I get spammed to pieces of "O/S exception error" after a minute or two in the game, and then i get kicked by a random message. Most often Loosing Key Packets.
This has come all of a sudden with no change or new program installed whatsoever on my PC, ive had it the last two days.

Anyone know of this issue or can point me in the right direction?

I had the same problem a while ago. I tried a lot of different things to solve it but unfortunately nothing helped.

The only and most simple solution to solve this problem is to unistall your game so included the installation folder of Battlefield 1942 and install your game again.
We'll heard from you later or this is working but im sure it will.

Kind regards

Arco.

Reinstalled BF1942 and punkbuster and updated it, fired it up. Still O/S exception error.
I do have automatic updated turned off and nothing in the log either so it cannot be that.

the one thing i did change was primary soundcard as i was gonna talk some on TS to my corpies in EVE. But i fail to see how that change would screw everything over with punkbuster.

I will try to reinstall it again but man, punkbuster sucks >_>.

I get this now and again and I solved it by updating PB. I'm not sure if you can still do that but it solved the problem.

Did you exactly follow every step I told you how to solve the Punkbuster O/S Exception Notice problem because you still have the problem. Did you remove everything, so included the Battlefield 1942 folder because I dont read that back in your text message?

When my punkbuster doesnt work right, I unistall and install it manually.

Maybe this could help you out and we hope to heard the good news later from you later on.

Kind regards

Arco.

Today I got the same error message. I remember having it in the past before and after some days it disappeared the same way it once came up. Are you sure it is a client problem?
I haven't done any changes to my pb installation and I am a bit suspicious about that a reinstall might help.
Damn PB... sometimes I really hate it.

Check within computer services of your comp ( my computer > manage > services > applications > services)  and make sure both PnkBstrA & PnkBstrB
are NOT disabled                  it could help    :)
